HotelQuickly, the last-minute booking app, has expanded its reach into Myanmar and Laos.
The company, which launched in March 2013, offers same-day deals at hotels in a range of countries including Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. So the addition of Myanmar and Laos completes the app’s coverage in the Indochina region.

“Our app is more and more being used by backpackers and flashpackers, who travel driven by inspiration and daily mood, preferring to find a place to stay on the day of arrival,” said HotelQuickly’s co-founder, COO & CMO Christian Mischler.
“Laos and Myanmar were white spots, so we’re now enabling travellers to fully rely on HotelQuickly when exploring the bordering countries of Thailand.”
The company said it will list a handful of hotels in Laos and Myanmar at the launch, before adding more properties in both countries in the coming weeks.
“As more and more hotels want to become a part of HotelQuickly, we will continue to expand and deliver that service to our growing audience,” Mischler added.
