It seems to me that every major players in Thai internal political factions are walking on a tightrope. One wrong move will plug Thailand into a blood bad civil war. Base on my personal observation, if these current ongoing trends continue it is clear that Thailand will break up a part just like Yugoslavia into a few independent states.
It takes fifty year to be on this point. We come here together so far to go back on those bumping roads again. Thai of all multi-ethnics had helped to build this country to be one of the most prospered nations in South East Asia and eventually it is so SAD to see my beloved country burning down into a rubble. It is too big to FAIL... and I pray that my country should get out of this government gridlock in peaceful means.
NO, that will not likely happen like the former Yougoslavia. Thailand has been in the same situations forever. Except for the very southern people who are Muslim, the large majority of people in Thailand are of Tai origin, are buddhist and speak a Thai/Tai language.

Everything is possible because thai people is divided into three or four parts: nobles, elite and rich people in BK city, farmers or low class people in the northern and north-eastern part of thailand... and rich and middle class people in the south and each part hate each others... more, there are muslem and buddhist in the south.
