The U.S treasury department sold these country a T- Bills (Treasury Bill)... and China and Japan have happen to be the one that had cash on hand to buy this bill.
So why do you think China don't dumb all of this bills when they got some conflict with the America ? because USA is a safest place on the earth for China to invest. and another main reason why they the chinese don't pull all the money out of the USA is beacuse it help keep their export flowing into the USA .

YES the USA is running the world's economy. They are the LARGEST economy in the world. Do your facking homework before you speak out of your azz. They also have the world's strongest military, do you know why? So they CAN control the world's economy. It's called politics. Why do you think they have their troops stationed all over the world? So they can exert their political agenda's and economic influence in that area. Why do you think they have 20,000 troops in Korea's DMZ ? To control trade between the two countries. They don't even pay tariffs anymore for importing into South Korea.
Why do you think they have an army base in Japan? The US provides a military for Japan after the war. Japan provides a base for the US military to keep China in check across the pacific ocean.
Why do you think they went to Iraq? Now they control the economics of the oil industry. USA is the worlds LARGEST consumer, so YES they do control the world's economy.
Why do you think China and these countries buy up this US debt? Why do they want US dollars? Are they stupid? NO, they know that they can make money from it. Would you invest in something that is going to lose money or make money for you? China wants to invest in the US so badly cause they know where the money is. They keep buying up US companies, especially energy and commodites.
You think they give a fack how much money they owe anyone? They can go nuke that damn country and then they wouldn't have to pay any debt. However, they would rather keep having people buy up it's debt so it can live fat and free at your stupid expense. How much foreign aid do you think the US gives away each year? How much do you think they spend on their military? They spent 3 trillion in Iraq and 3000 soldiers lives, all for what you ask? It comes down to $$$$$$$$.
The US economy is based on how much they can leverage. Asia, including Laos is mostly a cash based economy, they can't understand how a developed countries economy works. You want to do anything in Laos, you need cash, that's why it can never develop. It doesn't have the means to finance anything. When you don't even need cash to buy something, that is true economic power.
