(KPL) The Dongphosy Complex Development Company Limited will kick off the development of the Dongphosy complex economic area next month.
According to an agreement signed in Vientiane on January 8 between Head of the Vientiane Planning and Investment Service, Mr. Visay Savanna, Chief of Hadsayfong district, Mr. Chanthala Inthalangsy, and General Director of the Dongphosy Complex Development Company, Mr. Viengphet Konepaseuth and his deputy Mrs. Dokkeo Konepaseuth.
Vice Mayor of Vientiane, Dr. Anouphab Tounalom and relevant officials of both sides witnessed the signing at Lao Plaza Hotel.
The implementation of the 52-billion-kip project will be divided into two phases as the first phase will be for land clearance, construction of basic infrastructure and green areas. Meanwhile the second phase will be for constructing commercial centre, fresh market, and public facilities as well as decorative area and security system, said Mrs. Dokkeo.
The development of the project will conform to environmentally friendly standards, said Ms. Dokkeo. The project has been expected to be fully completed in early 2016.
