You LIE again. Thailand and the large majority of Thai people DO NOT protest against Sayaboury Dam. It's the Thai company that invest billions of dollars in this project. The electricity from the dam will profit both Laos and Thailand. You are a cunning and sick liar to the Lao people.

You already have the answers after you watch the clips above, I personally disagree with the plan of constructing the Project which will  cause the impact on environment and fish speices ,  I hope the Laos govt should studys and make more researches on Environment impact and other neccesary impacts.

It's so funny that the Laos commies always keep saying how Laos is so naturally beautiful, "tama sat" and yet they don't care about the environment or anything else when it comes to $$$$$ that is going to be made from the dam. So basically fack the land when there is $$$ at stake. I wonder who is lying now, oh wait, where did all the trees go to? Where did Vietnam get all that wood from? Laos sells it's land, trees, opium, women and children to other countries, shiet, why not sell everything else including our pride.

Why all this talk, no one knows until it happens so why not just build the damn thing. Laos is already the most heavily bombed country in the world, who cares if a dam is going to destroy it even more, it can't get any worse.

 I think they made a few changed in original blue print and also hire an expert from scandinavian countries to design dam and you guys people still not satisfied with it. the hell you people, protest everything insight and now it become a tradition for you thai people now. So when it come to environment, do you really think lao are stupid ? do you think they don't know what the heck they doing ? that's bullcrap ok. so please stop talk too much about environment when majority of the people in this region still very poor... Don't follow tooo much about the West ideology and don't debate me on the environment because i know what I'm talking about.

tell me the truth, whats ur dad gets the benefit from dam??? and what the lao ppls get from the dam?? i m lao, not thai,but i think the dam wont change much ppls s life or income.
