(KPL) On October 15, the Chinese government presented ten buses, four Mercedes Benz cars and electronic equipments, totally worth more than 19 billion kip, to the Government Office in preparing the later for the upcoming ASEM 9, which will be hosted here on Nov 5-6.
The handover of the assistance took place at the Government Office and was performed by the Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Mms. Bu Jiangua, and Minister to and Head of the Government Office, Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune. The event was witnessed by relevant office of both sides.
On the occasion, Mr. Sinlavong said that donation assistance will be used for facilitating the ASEM 9 Summit and expressed the Lao government�s thanks to the Chinese government for the generous assistance it had extended to Laos.
