(KPL) Vientiane Capital is rearranging untidy electricity, telephone wire and TV cables along both sides of main roads in Vientiane to welcome ASEM9, scheduled on 5-6 November.
The Vientiane Post, Telecommunication and Communication Division in cooperation with Telecom companies and Cable TV Companies and Electricite du Laos, on 22 August rearranged the untidy electricity, telephone wire and TV cables along the road in Vientiane Capital.
The move is expected to complete by end this month, which will be a good visibility. This is also a welcoming procession for the 9th Asia-Europe Meeting in Vientiane on November5-6,"said Deputy Head of the Vientiane Post, Telecommunication and Communication Department, Mr. Thongsai Song.
The move acted under a directive of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Communication.
