Lots of people say, Lao go shopping in Thai because of they want to enjoy modernity or eating Pizza all this is not true.
They go to Thai because they trust the standard of Thai trade: price, quality, guarantee, cheap, freedom in shopping no need to stupid bargain.
if Lao able to prove this will draw Lao to buy in Lao and if not, never and never. Most Malls in Lao is open for sell (small rooms) this will repeat the same habit like Morning Market. The customers never know the real price and will be cheated all the time. I never do shopping in Lao except wood furniture.

Speaking from an Economist point of views, all these malls will be empty. No one will rent it.
Lao people do not have much buying power. Only certain group of people like the corrupted bastards have the $$$ to shop.
Well, at least creat some jobs in country, that's happening everywhere, if we don't have market how come we can produce? First we import but soon we will able to produce and export. Think positive to cheer them up! And wish them best luck! Bcoz they've already planned! Think positive!
