I watch Jim Lehrer NEWSHOUR everyday and this is what I have learnt

1- Vietnam did get support from Usa, recently american Defense Minister was Vietnam following with top american generals delegation also in Hanoi to talk about Security and Defense coorporation between the 2 countries' Usa also supported Vietnam Idea to use diplomatic and peaceful means to resolve the problem not war.

2- Japan also supported Vietnam UNCLOS policy to resolve the problem.

3- From 03/05/07 British Foreign Minister also visited VN for Defense and Security Coorporation.

so VN do have friends in this conflict with China not ISOLATED.

4-USA started to relax laws to sell weapons to VN.

5-Yesterday In Russia, russian Foreign Minister also supported VN idea to use peaceful means to resolve problem not war.

 but no any countries in the world could stop the rising of the giant China to become the next world super power in this century and more likely in the next and next century! America and Co. will do and try every dirty trick for stoping China! could they do stop China? yes sure, not now but in the next 1000 year! Goodluck!
