(KPL) Almost 3,000 seized pornography DVDs, were put on fire at the Vientiane Information, Culture and Tourism Service last Friday.
Mr. Phonchanh Phengphavanh, Head of Vientiane Information, Culture and Tourism Service in cooperation with the Vientiane Public Security Inspection Service said the porn DVDs has been seized from DVD shops in Vientiane Capital.
Almost 3,000 porn DVDs were seized from 22 DVD shops in four districts of Vientiane Capital, two weeks ago.
The porn DVD poses a threat and negative impact against the Lao fine social and culture.
The burning ceremony was witnessed by Head of Vientiane Tourism Department, Mr. Khampadith Khemmanith and officials concerned.
