Ok, as you guys have opinions, lets listen to/read mine:
There are a couple of important reasons why the number of road accidents have increases in Vientiane: or Laos.
1. When new roads are being constructed, parking lots have never been established which means cars are parked along the newly built road which blocks the traffic
2. Drivers are not trained properly because driving schools are making money--not producing well- trained dirvers
3. We are (Lao people) selfish enough to damage others on the road and eventually end up damanging ourself. This can be noticed when drunk drivers are on the wheel and when non-drunk drivers intentionally go over speed limit
4. When everyone knows that roads are narrow, pumpy and busy why then everyone seems to want to push others who are driving infront of them...and these guys (the pushers) know that even when they get to the front, they will reach the red light (Fai Deng) not their home yet.
