My thoughts and prayers go out to the John Douangdara's family, His death is a reminder of the extraordinary sacrified made by him and his fellow (Man and wo men) of our military and their families, including all who have served not just in Afghanistan, But around the world as well.
As a private citizen of this great nation, I'd like once again, Thankyou very much and really appreciated for your sacrified and defense our country and our freedom. ''Rest in peace brother,''
I was in Vientiane during the news that Taliban downed the US Navy Seal helicopter. I saw the positive reaction of Lao people in Vientiane about Lao-American, John Douangdara, killed in action in Afghanistan. The most Lao people that I know are sorry to heir the news and their prayer are going to him and his family. They are not consider Lao-Americans as their enemy like last 30 years ago. That's all I want to share to all Lao people in a broad to know Laos today is not same as last 35 years ago.
