Seeing Wattay Airport, (Should've been call Sykhay Airport because it is in my hometown Sykhay) Anyway, Brought back my childhood memeries, that new building and Parking lot used to be a Soccerfield, Anybody at age of 45 years up and lived in Mueang Sikhottabong know what i'm talking about. Anyway, let' get back to the topics. yeahh as economy go forward and people probably flow into the big City like Vientiane, this is a cycle of human nature and its happening around the the world. But one thing I wouldn't like to see, PDR government should not build the Compact City like Bangkok where everything have to be at one place. PDR government need to spread it out to other province if they don't want to see people all over the laos flow into one City and create chaos like traffic, pollution, and cars all over the places...etc.
How about not allowing property owners blocking predestrian walkways with vehicles, food stalls and retail goods. When I am in Vientiane, I have to walk on the road and risking getting run over by all sort of vehicles because sidewalks are blocked. Enforce the law please, then we can discuss about grand master plan.
