When will lao government build bridges connecting Xaiyabouly-Vientiane and Xaiyabouly-Luang Prabang?
How could Laos Govt has fund to build inter province bridges?
Go to check it out at Ban ThaNgone, Muong Xaythany bridge then you will see how Laos Govt done built it. The project and fund showed to built double lanes bridge but, they done only a single lane bridge. The traffic convenience is not different from it was when they were using big boat ( heua bug ) to carry the the automobiles, the motorbikes, bikes and people. Any truck, car , motorbike even bike have to wait at end zone of bridge for waiting turn to cross to other side of bridge, some time take 10- 20 minutes to go through other side of Ngeuim river. Karkading bridge is a single lane bridge also. Laos Govt is waiting for chance to beg the fund from the foreigner aids to build the second lane of those bridge.
I hope to see the bridge cross in between Sayabury to main land of Laos soon. I hope not to wait next 100 years to see that happen.
