I love my step-mother because my real mom only knew how to gave birth to me, but didn't want to take care of me so she abandon me and all my siblings for someone else to be a mother to us.

Mother's day and women day aren't same day and month and different meaning too. Mother's day is only in the USA and Canada. The world's women day is every countries in this world.
Can anyone explain how can you translate ແມ່ ດວງໃຈຂອງລູກ to Woman's Day? Isn't a word ແມ່ means mom ? Isn't a word ດວງໃຈຂອງລູກ means your child's heart I think it should be ວັນຂອງຊູພ້າບສັດຕຣີ or ວັນຂອງແມ່ຍິງ which is translate as "Woman's Day "

Looks to me like this Lao nai has some deep hatred for Lao nork and thinks every Lao nork is as ignorant as he portrays them to be. Lao nork thinks Lao nai is dumb because they are celebrating "Mothers Day" on the wrong day, according to US and Canadian calendars. Lao nai thinks everyone in the world celebrates "Womens Day" just because in that part of the world they do. Do you guys celebrate Ramadan? I didn't think so.
Interesting that these places celebrate Womens Day cause they got to be reminded that women are human beings also and shouldn't be treated any less. Especially in Asia, women are still not equal to men. They still need to be reminded every year.
