I arrived to Michigan on Thanksgiving night in 1980 and here I am now in same this town since then till present time. I don't know that we have LYCEE Vientiane members reunion until I saw on SAMAKOMLAO Web board today. I used be a member of LYCEE Vientiane student from 1968 to 1975. Seven years that I studied at that great school building and I love it so much, that building gave me educated from 1st year (6eme A) or 6th grader to last year of that school term ( Terminal ). I grow up and spend most time of my life with that school from age of 13 to 20. I miss all of my professors, classmates, friends ( all graders ) and special our school Directer Khamsay.
1975 was a year of tear, we ( LYCEE Vientiane student members ) separated each other to every corner of the world. Our country went down to CHAOS situation and teared apart of our communities and the new Lao PDR governments forced our youngsters fret our country.
I went to CCCP a year later (1976) and came back home 1980 and 4 months later I was in Thailand refugee camp.
Miss all of you, old school boys & girls. Wish you have a good health and long life to live. Hope to see you there.
