I want to tell Lao government and let them know. I had been Art fair festival in Missouri State USA last 2 weeks. I saw Buddha's pictures, Mekong River's pictures and some places in Laos in that pictures.
A shope have a lot of thing from Laos. But it's not Lao people sell Buddha,Mekong river pictures and some pictures from Laos. you know, when I and my husband saw it. we just came in for look. Than I just want take some pictures. Because I leaved from my mother country ( Laos ) a long time.
But when my husband took one picture for me with Buddha's picture. A girl, she is white American got mad and said very bed word with me and my husband. After that i told her that: I just saw pictures from my mother's country. That why I want take pictures. But all of you know. she do the same Buddha is her pictures country.
Can Lao government have rules for touris come travel in Laos about take Buddha's pictures or some temples. Because touris took pictures from Laos for sell in foreig. I think is not fair.......
I want to answer to the comment above. I think it is fair because they use their own camera, and they do not steal photos from Laos. It is a commerical era, everything is money. The way you took photo from someone's photo, is kind of illegal. FOr example, it is not allow to record video in the theather. This is apply to all digital format, and I think you should understand this.
