This amount can be possible for Lao government to get the fund to the project like Camko city. Why? because we can already build a Nam theun 2 dam which costs US 1,450 Million (source: http://www.namtheun2.com/ ). Therefore, if we want to build the similar project like Camko city, it's not too far away. This means it has a big big possibility for Lao to have the modern city like Camko city.
Now, Laos is currently getting the fund from itself, foreign banks and foreign investors to build more dan 70 dams including the old, current and new projects (source: electricity du Laos). This costs a lot of $US Billion.
