I know that some ethnic groups in Laos, like Tai Dam, eat dogs. However, the fact that some Viet or Chinese immigrants in Laos and some Lao officials who used to study in Vietnam also occasionally eat dogs doesn't change the reality that Lao people don't eat dogs. Are the Thai people dog-eaters because some Esaan Thai of Viet origin eat dogs? The answer is NO. Why those dog eaters try so hard to involve other countries as dog eaters as well? is this to make them feel less ashamed?
