Well educated ,intelligent and honest person who is willing to sacrifice and serve the people and country will be good . You could witness the well educated leader who had been successfully transformed his country from deadly poor to the super rich such as South Korea, Singapore . You also withness the countries are rich with crude oil but the people are poor because of the corrupted leader and regime such as Libya . Cuba is the paradise still underdeveloped because the dictator is still afraid to lose his power bach to the people. So his country is still isolated to the world and still under developed for the last 6 decades.
Any body who truly earned the Phd degree and know what they sre doing , also not corrupted ,should be a good prime minister and president of Laos because they will have knowledge and mind of their own to make the decision , not to wait for someone to tell tell what they must do.
No chance and opportunity . Only the relatives and the families of the powerful people in the government who will have the opportunity . The system is corrupted that is why no new idea . why the country is still the least developed and the poorest country.Don't blame on the bombing and the land lock but the corruption. Laos was poor yesterday and Laos is poor today and Laos will be poor tomorrow because of the corrupted and failed system. That was the reason why the Soviet Empire collapsed and the Berlin wall was torn down and China turn to capitalism.
Don't just dream of freedom. you need to do something about it. Stand up for yourself and follow foot steps of good leaders like dr. Panmalaythong, Dr, Somphone, and other good men. Take back your free of speech, freedom to live, and freedom to elect your own president for your country.
