There is no benefit to the Lao people for this dam. The only people that see the money is the corrupt Lao gov't.
No jobs will be created, not for Lao people anyways. The end user of this electricity won't even be Lao people, it will be sold to neighboring countries like Thailand, China and Vietnam.
Laos resource is being raped by other countries and Lao gov't is getting richer. Lao people are stupid for letting this happen but I guess they don't have a choice, they are being dictated by Choummaly.
