I would like to discuss on Vientiane Capital City`s transportation system nowaday. As everyone knows that there are many vehicles increasing. When I visited Laos last two weeks, I got many times of traffic jam on many roads. I always thought that why it has always traffic jam in Laos. The street is too small? Many of vehicles? The method of transporter diving? But mostly They have the same problems in Japan. But Japan hasn`t traffic jam so much. And I got one answer for me. In Laos, They like to park their vehicle on the side. They don`t park their car out of the street. Especially, The roads near markets, I can see many cars parking on the side or footwalk track. That`s why Laos has gotten much traffic jam. Why don`t they issue any rule for this? What do you think about this?

Did you used to read Vientianemai newspaper? as I saw the problem the market doesn't have enough space for car parking(1) and in Vientiane also doesn't have enough carparking area(2) if you want to see lets go and look near BCEL Bank, Lane xang Hotel etc.

yes you are absolutely correct and good idea, all the corrupt taxes money should use to build parking store it will be better for LAOS as a country ,
rather than let all govt officer misuse our taxes money for personal wealth
Keep dreaming on my friends..... U talking about JP & LPDR. not even close, about 100 yrs apart. Lao has 1 main road linking N & S. and yet they didn't even pave or widen,make it better. Perhaps, they don't care...
