if you are going to compare to English terminology, ກົມສ້າງຄູ = pedagogy (dept), because they don't have
a special school or institut, only for training the students to become teachers. In colleges, instituts or universities
they teach everything.
From personal experience in the former socialist (you can call them communist) countries, their instituts or universities
are profiling for only in one kind of specialists. e.g. technical one they will train students to become technical specialist in many
kinds, but never teach you to become a lawyer or doctor and vice verse. You study for 4 yrs in only of your choice dicipline.
In the american education system is different, the first 2 yrs - you study the basic of all diciplines, 2 yrs later you choose what you want to work or the field you want to be at.
