95% outside the country or inside the country ? be more specific about your headline, if 95% outside I would say: maybe yes. But if 95% inside the country don't know where the Laos is and I'd say those 95% are very stupid. Philipine is in Southeast asian country.

Go to the Northern most of Laos, to the most remote areas, and ask people there... who is the prime minister, president of Laos... how many provinces in Laos..then you can start thinking about why people from other countries don't know Laos ;) simple as that.
I come from small village in southern Laos.. villagers only know the name of village chief... they dont know the name of district mayor or province governors
