OH well I visited Laos in january 2012 everywhere I go for internet shops in Vientiane when I had a look at this website, the part which has lao language was blocked, only english part you can see few things. 1 internet shop in centre of Vientiane also sells illegal DVD,CD so I asked many people about this website and they don't know about, they said they are busy to make a living meaning working.

so this website most of the time is for lao nork. Anyway I am going to Laos again soon. My favourite guesthouse is Haysoke guesthouse, 15 dollar a night. second favourite guesthouse is Lani guesthouse. see you in Vientiane soon.

Only rich people in Laos can afford to buy computer and have internet connected to their house, majority people go to internet shop if they want to use internet, 6000kip internet for 1 hour. Majority people in Laos must work to earn a living to have food on the table, because Laos does not Social Security and does not have Unemployed Benefit for people like rich countries in the west. So it's not strange when they don't know or not interested in this website. Actually they don't have time to sit and play like people in rich countries. Nearly all have computer in the house and have internet connected to private use.

Anyway in November 2012 when I visit Vientiane again this time when I go to internet shops and log in this website and I will take a picture to shown you, all that in Laos the part which people post and discuss or exchange word in Laos is blocked you will see the blank little square blanks and nothing else. Only the english part showing some few things...then when I came back from Laos I am going to post that picture for all to see. So it to prove this is for lao nork ( again the board which saying topics in lao language, not the english part ).

This could also be because they have not properly installed Lao font in their computer. Have you checked this out? Were you able to see Lao characters in other webs, but not Samakomlao to make sure?
