I am absolutely not impressed by those tall buildings and the so-called developed cities. I have been there. It's noisy, polluted, packed with rude people and not too safe even to cross the streets. All Vientiane needs is a better infrastructure, not tall buildings.
Are Lao people ready for this financially ? Are there any thing to be learnd from China 's ghost cities and malls which were finised built and are for six years agao and are still empty today and lost billions of USD . No Chinese could affored to accupy and to buy the property and to pay the rent and no customers who have money to spend.
Lao government and Lao people will be in debt again if this project fail , like the China 's ghost citis and malls in china.
