Yes it's true. My cousin is a deep country side teacher ( Kru Ban Nork ) and he didn't get his salary of 400.000 kip is about $50.00 usd per month for total a year and a half. He should getting repay what ever the government owed him but NO! Until now he didn't get all his money back yet they still repay him in a small amount like 50.000 kip a month.

He's lucky that he has his own rice field and he raise livestock to feed his family.
