i  just comm back from LAOS 2 weeks ago! it's the first time i've been visiting my Mother LAOS after more than 3 decades, i've seen the changes alots, lao people today are so nice and very politely.i must admid i'm very impressed with NEW LAO SOCIETY. i would say that i'm falling in love with my Mother LAOS again! i'll be back in November again for celebrating BOUN THAT LUANG!!! ( i live in U.K )

 I live in US, and have been visiting Laos twice a year since 2003.  In Nov. this year I'll be in Lao again.  No matter who says what about Laos, I still love my mother land.  Eventhough I have all my family mom&dad, sister here in the US,  I still love to visit my relative & cousin in Lao.  We still have connection you know? Blood thicker than water.  Sure Lao change slowly, but slow is better than no change at all.

And to answer the comment above:

1. Not all Lao Nork are mean toward Lao, they just have more freedom and they say whatever they want/have in their mind you know.

2. For me, I'm still the same I live in modernize/civilize nation or live in Lao, my attitude is still the same.  I love and care 4 all Lao, don't look down on other pple and respect them.

3. Now that I have lived in US for 31 years.  The only thing I like is freedom of speech and money of course.  Other than that I'm still yellow skin, dark hair.
