I (myself) chose whichever is convenient when I fly. For instance, If I fly w/in Lao from VTE-LPQ, I would fly on ATR72. If I fly int'l from VTE-SIN then I would love to be on Airbus 320 and so should you.
Whatever fits your need, then U should use them. After all, it's Lao Airlines still young and naive, we should use their services to help them accomplish their goals.

I would like to commend about what some people said about two airline, I think they do not know more just say and protect their company. A good person must say bad to other and mustn't complain other, just do your own best, right. Because a good company must use the brain than speake more but nothing succeed. I think it not up to the company, the customers are the middle, they can decides by themselve, not to be listen from others.
Don't be so sure that the price will go down due to one addiiotnal operator. Just look at the case of telecommunication. What happens when the government intervenes....

For me I am Lao people, so i have to use Lao Airline, some time event their service is not good enought. ibecuase the government don't have enuaght money to support to Lao Airline. but I thinks the services is OK. For Phongsavanh Airline I don't know about them so much, what did the do before, why they'v got a lot money. or someone make coruption from The Finance of Government or do business about log tree or whatever they before all are coruption. I don't believe Lao Peple will have a lot money as Phongsavanh company. Every boddies need to think about this. I need Laos Government National Inspector do inspecting them. about the money.
