As I known from the Lao Nai group that some of us misunderstand about Lao patriots in the country. They have worked very hard to join task to fight against the regime. They have to rely on them self because Lao Organisation abroad just support them very slightly. Even the governments in exile still scare to introduce own self to fight for democracy in Laos so the other group should be the same.
During 5 to 10 years in the re-education camp, Lao communist system has put the psychology of the scare of believe to all prisoners.
Many of members in this forum have the mentality of the afraid of communist people till today.
When the Voice of Laotians Abroad speaks up then members start to keep quiet. We are lucky to have some Lao patriots to speak up non stop so I am happy to see the movement still alive.
Laosnet job is very risky but we gain strong support from our colleagues from around the world. It seems smoothly and in-confidence.
Vietnam is forecasting its highest rate of inflation in two years despite recent policy moves and growing international pressure for the government to get a grip on fast-rising prices.
The government's statistical agency said Thursday that prices in March are likely to be 13.9 percent higher than in the same month last year. The agency said the inflation rate for the three-month period beginning in January is likely to stand at 12.8 percent.
International rating agencies cited Vietnam's high inflation among other factors when they lowered the country's credit rating in December. A representative of the International Monetary Fund said last month that Vietnam needs to focus more decisively on containing inflation.
Vietnamese officials say the inflation rate is expected to slow down later this year in response to a recent devaluation of the currency and higher interest rates. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung told the National Assembly this week that government will follow “a tight and prudent monetary policy.”
