High Speed Rail sounds nice and all But it's not our culture, (We are not Europe or Japan) Europe and Japan are  much more densely populated places, America do not built a compact Cities like these two. When America built their City, they alway spread them out to the Suburb. For Example: Tokyo, Paris, Montreal, these are very compact. you can't find a parking spot easily... Plus, Americans are not sheep to be herded into a Rail cars to travel !!! We prefer individual freedom of going where we want to by ourself. And virile Independent American have no desire to be told by Government which way to travel and what to travel on!! But one thing, if we desire built a Rockets,Rail cars or Pedal cars, we will have the best, the fastest, the most beautiful, the powerful, and most importantly, we'll have the American trian on Earth... and as for my Brotha, Obama, his policy might not kick-in, because he's no longer control of the House, and his policy might be change by GOP... and for our belove country'' LAOS''  Building a High Speed Rail (Bullet-Train) is not PDR government's policy, It's part of a China's econpomics policy dominated the regions. China's economic plan is to connect with the rest of SEA countries as well as 18 Europeans countries..  this is what a chinese planing to do in late 90... go and read in a chinese department of Commerce if you don't believe me... I do all my reseached... I also did my reseach why U.S.S.R. collapsed but not China.....

Yeahh i knew that part, 70%/30%... things. But what i would like to see is: PDR governmentt should spend 60% of GDP on education and improve pulic schools. this is where the future is..
