In my openions, all of that it is truth and no matters how we the lao people want to close relationship with thai people is imposible all level. thai people would think lao people are low life people and not smart ones people, but lao people think thai people are crooked people, and naive people, it can not be trustee. speaking psychologically. it is past history still being haunted lao people'souls. Thai think that all of aspective they are better then Lao because their econmic is good that all 65 million thai citizens live $4, 756.00 per capita US dollar that still live poorly survive. thai can not foresee that Lao people have good hart and souls that can return thing around once for all a good people. I think that relationship between Lao and thai never gona be good neighboor any ways. I feel that just live it stranger the ways it is and don't try to fix it. it is not gona work for both sides. so that Lao people just do mornally business with them. Unlike Vietnam and cambodia are trustee people and classy people and hormony human being and they think like world class with all levels respectfully. they never have bad mounth to their neighbors and live peacefully as friendships. on others hand, all level thai people hatred Lao and Cambodia. we don't know what eat them to hate us. the questions we like ask thai people. what do you want? or may be they want cambodia and Lao belong to them so that they can take control both politically and ecomonically, than they will satisfy gradauly or I might be wrong about that it probably Lao and cambodia urgly people that's why thai people don't want to be associate with it and we don't care. all we have known from past to present lao and cambodia never invaded thai. Lao and cambodia honesty and peace being people.

FIRST OF ALL, I HATE THE MOST SIAM. THEY TROUBLE MAKER FIRST PLACE, SECOND FRANCH CONSTROVACY WITH ENGLAND SIDE WITH SIAM TO DEVIDE LAO LANG XANG TO SIAM AND THIRD HATE AMERICAN DROP MOST BOMB MORE THAN WORLD II COMBINE, BUT I BLAM FRANCH'S FAULTED FOR AMERICAN DROP BOMB ON LAOS.

Lao people like Thai people and want to have good relationship with all Thai people but some uneducated Thai people acted them selves to be Siamese and look down on Lao people same as 200 years ago. Other hand, uneducated Lao people are hating Thai people by keeping the incident that happened over 200 years ago in their heads, the Lao-Thai hatred issue was came from both sides uneducated people.

Thai people haven't done anything bad to Laos, they are good friends as neighboring country that we have 90% same language and understanding each other when we exchange our conversation.

Siamese was the one who have done all kind of bad things to LaneXang. During that time no Thailand and no Laos, only Siam and LaneXang.

Please understand Thailand didn't came and burned down Vienchane, Siam was. And Siam didn't burned down Vientiane, they've done to Vienchane.

Read the sentence, line under, above you will find out today's and last 200 years ago, then Thailand was Siam, and they wrote capital of Laos VIENCHANE, today's VIENTIANE.

The name Thailand just born after WW2, 65 years only after Siam.
The name Laos Just born in 1956 after Indochina, no name after fallen of LaneXang.

Laos and Thailand almost be one same country if France not came to to Indochina.

Please understand Thailand didn't came and burned down Vienchane, Siam was. And Siam didn't burned down Vientiane, they've done to Vienchane.

This Siam (Thai) people were confussing me by saying Thailand didn't burned down Vienchane and Siam did burned down and Siam didn't burned down Vientiane, they've done to Vienchane. you are dump ass educator by prefer Vientiane and Vienchance is not the same name, but Vientiane and Vienchane are the same location. only foreignors say different sound. Educator don't call some body name like you did. If you are educator you should know NOW and THEN. How long Siamese invaded Laos? There's over 200 years already. Use your education that you have earned and figure out about NOW and 200 years before. If you study more about LaneXang during King Anouvong era you will know how come Siam win over the war with LaneXang? I typed War between Laos and Vietnam in yahoo, and google, nothing came up....but then Vietnamization of Richard Nixon, which means using viet kill viet....that's why Alan Dershowitz said Indochina war is wrong, Indochina did not attack USA. Vietnam invaded Laos not one but twice like Siam also. Read Laos history ( the old one wrote by Maha Sila Viravong ) then you will know how Viet had done to Laos. Do you know these kings were ruled Laos: King say Ong Hue ( say-ong-vet in lao ), King Ong Long and Ong Boun. Hoiw bad was Laos during these king era? Are they Lao name? They were Viet names not Lao's.

For me (only) I love every country and every nationality in the world, but Thailand or Thais, Isaan people might be a little different only if they love themselve because they are not Thais.

First Thai, Second America and the Last is French because at least French can save some parts of Laos (Lao PDR) otherwise we would have been like Issan of Thailand, which is not allowed to speak Lao language in official conversation.

I don't like French but I have to thank them.

For America, as long as the bomb-holes on Lao land are still there and Lao people are still suffering from UXO, we will never ever forget what Americans did to us.

How come you didn't tell the whole story about Sai Ong Hue, Ong Long and Ong Boun ? and who they really were ? and here it is: After Pha chao Souligna Vongsa died in 1694, leaving no living sons. The throne was seized by Tian thala, a highest ranking mandarin of the Royal Palace. Six years later he was overthrown and put to death by a provincial governor named '' Nantharath'' Upon this. Souligna Vongsa' minor grandsons, Kitsarat and Inthasom, fled from Vientiane to Luangphabang.

The news of this coup reached Sai Ong Hue, the son of Souligna Vongsa's brother, who had been living in exile in Annam. That same year, 1700, Sai Ong Hue marched on Vientiane at the head of an army of Vietnamese soldiers. He captured the town, had Nantharath put to death, and proclaimed himself King. How come you didn't tell the whole story about Sai Ong Hue, Ong Long and Ong Boun ? and who they really were ? and here it is: After Pha chao Souligna Vongsa died in 1694, leaving no living sons. The throne was seized by Tian thala, a highest ranking mandarin of the Royal Palace. Six years later he was overthrown and put to death by a provincial governor named '' Nantharath'' Upon this. Souligna Vongsa' minor grandsons, Kitsarat and Inthasom, fled from Vientiane to Luangphabang.

The news of this coup reached Sai Ong Hue, the son of Souligna Vongsa's brother, who had been living in exile in Annam. That same year, 1700, Sai Ong Hue marched on Vientiane at the head of an army of Vietnamese soldiers. He captured the town, had Nantharath put to death, and proclaimed himself King. He sent his half brother, Ong Long to take possession of Luangphabang in his name... i can go on and on, just too lazy...

I had doubt about lao history between lao and vietnam. Yes, vietnam had invaded luang Prabang and burned it down, but Vietname do some good thing for Lao by trying save King Anouvong from being cought by Saim Army. Vietnam let the King Anouvong hiding in Vietnam for his safty. But The king decided that to go back to face enimy Siam on his own for his belove country. if you don't hate Siam people (Thai) and you live for the future, but you had bought to Lao people attention by bring the old Lao history. that me say this, if you don't want to know about great your grantparent who gave birth to your parent and your parent gave birth to you. the question is, how do you know live with yourself to these day? For example, every country around the world have learned great deal by their past history and they build stronger for the future. The same thing Lao people want to know alot of past history and we can prevent happening in the future agian. I known that you don't care about thais talk bad to lao people. I think you don't have no heart, but you show them weakness when thai people spilts on your foods, you eat daily and you still come with apitized and say "Fs" words to your parent everyday you still ok with that!. Do you know how come Anam or Viet became good friend of Laos? Because they had gotten their a$$ kicked by Chao Lane Khamdeng. Anam saw Laos is CLEVE land and people. Like I said " Lao killed Lao " during King Anouvong and Siam war. LaneXang were split to 4 kingdoms, King of Anachack Champasack opened green light for Siam to fight against King Anou, King Luang Prabang acked like No see No tell and Anachack Xieng Kuang were Siam backup directly.

To me, I think Vietnamese captured King Anouvong instead of just simply giving him a place of safe heaven. After that The Vietnamese send King Anouvong to Lanxang in order to chase away the Siamese from Lanxang of hopping that since King Anouvong is a Lao King to begin with, he can easily gain his trust and his support from Lao people without or very little problem! or recruit Lao people to join Vietnam to fight with Siam!

If King Anouvong ever won that war, I believed that Laos could have been under Vietnamese colonist with out any doubt!!
If Lao history have been taught to the Lao children earlier back then, Lao will never have repeated history as what have took place in 1975 with how Prince Souphanavong who was influenced great by Ho- Chi min ( Vietcong) for many decades and came back to Laos and gained his trust from his half- brother Prince Souvannaphouma and Lao people to make a long story short that's how Laos became communist country with a government that's influenced greatly by the Vietcong or is known as Uncle Ho to Lao People's Democratic Republic !!

I wonder if I'm ever going to see my beloved country being on her own without any big brother's influenced her in this life time??

2. Stop using or buying all merchandises that made from Thai.
3. Stop using or buying Thai medicines when you get sick.
4. Stop watching Thai TV, Thai movies and Thai Lakhorn TV.
5. Stop Listen to Thai musics, song and Lum Lao Esan.
6. Stop go travel in Thailand.
7. Stop Lao people go work in Thailand.

Lao people who were born after 75's didn't know how much Thailand had done good thing for Laos. Early 75's Laos government told their population that Thailand is #3 enemy after Lao Patikan and U.S.A.
Hochiminh the great leader of VN communist were born and grew up in Thailand before he moved to North VN to fight against French.
