Ii you are lao citizen, you are qualify for all what you said, but if you are not then the most you will have is the right to own property (in the future). No such thing if you are not a citizen that country you can become goverment official or politiciane, maybe advisor that is

I am mid 50's and live in the U.S. since 1976. I am thinking about
going back to our motherland, not once but ten million times. I have
3 children and 5 grand kids, my older daughter, 31, is children doctor,
a younger daughter, 29, is heart specialist doctor, my baby son, 27, just
graduated from college couple years ago and he received Master Degree
of business and administration.
Last summer, I brought my 3 children with me over in Laos for our vacation.
We were stayed there 6 weeks and went visit many places. I asked my kids
what do they think if we move to Laos to do business there, all 3 of them said
at the same time:" NO " Pah! I asked them why? They just laugh and won't
tell me why? they even won't let me go back to Laos either but, they don't tell
me the reason. I think my kids know better than me that's why they not allow
me moving back to Laos after I retired.
I am still looking for the answer, if any body know please tell me.
