I knew who you are by your typing, you're s.o. right? If we talk about the living of people in each country, North Korea is poorest living people in Asia. Their government had forced the people to eat one meal per day to save money for the country's developing.

Waooo, you're the best bro, you even recognized my hand writing 555. Please don't forget that there's a few horizontal handwriting in this Webboard either it' a lao or english webboards. please do not assume is all mine ok bro..... Anyway, you absolutely right of what you said upthere about North Korea... I , my self, saw the clip in U-tube and i feel soo bad for North Korea kids... all the whole world see about the North, it's nothing but propaganda of the Dear-leader King Jong iL that's all.... Sorry, the truth is hurt.......
right but I see that most people don't want to recognize that in the Lao PDR there are many many poor people far away from the electric current and clean drinking water. I recently made a long trip from VTE -Hueyxay- Luangnamtha-Muang Sing-Oudomxay-Phongsaly-Luangphrabang and I made manylong treckings in most provinces I mentioned earlier and saw many poor families living along the road far away below the line of poverty...they have to walk 6 hours per day and cross twice the river, carrying their daily food to their dry rice plantations which are almost at the peak of the mountain elevated more than 1 000 -1 500 meters of altitude. but when I hailed to them "Sabaidee " They spontanously responded me with a strong sabaidee ! ...(they even don't speak lao !) with smiles ! Great and fine people !

If you assumed those people that you saw them carried their daily foods to their dry rice plantation, or in Lao we call " HY ", are poor people, you are wrong. Inside of those people hearts are fully with richest of happy life, they have good living styles more than hundred thousand people who you see them drive nice cars and living nice houses in big city. They got nothing to worry like you and me, we work to earn money for living, pay for bills, I believe those people don't how to spell a word " BILL " at all.

Brother Chiip, Yes we do recognized that our country'' LAOS'' is still poor, most lao people know that by heart. But according to my'' standard of poor'' the majorities of poor-lao still have a pieces of land to farm, Garden, and built a small house or hut for their own family. a poor lao doesn't roaming around the country and Beg, of course you might have seen a few beggars in the big cities like: Vientiane, Savanh, or Thakek. and most importantly, we do not have Slums...
