I agree with you that there's a dark side in the outbreaking of fire in the thatluang market; the very one man who run the concession of this market had fullfilled and up graded the rice field at the north of the buoeng thatluang gridge for the car parking purpose, just when half finished the fire outbreking occured and trade people moved their saved goods from fire to the said car parking place, received with outstreched arms by the car parking owner... Three days later,a foreigners and lao business people came to evaluate the situation and after another three days huge advertising boards were installed at the front and the back of the burnt market ...and a few weeks later the building of the five story of appartments for rent and for sale begun...very fast decision...many people I know were in dept of several millions of baht... all their goods newly imported from thailand had gone away with the fire that it seems rather like an intentionally arson than an ordinary fire outbreaking to me ...and you ? Only God knows it ! Regards.
