Most Doctors in Laos have no CHANYABAN at all, They have only MONEY talk. The poor has short life. The rich has long life.
My relative,38, died last 3 months at Mahosoth hospital from her heart attack. Doctors denied her heart sugery and left her suffered of pain for 3 days before she die.

Where CHANYABAN of Dr. in Laos?
Where is the free hospital? where is the free medicine? and what do you mean Chanyaban of doctor?
I am not a doctor, but if you don't like Lao doctors, then don't wait for me to tell you where to go. I prefer Thai doctor, I accross the river to the hospital there...
So, do not intimidate other peoples, its their job, if they can not do... I will never do it. Every work they must have their own system.

CHANYABANis phasalao. If you don't know what that means just go
ask any doctor in Laos like this:
"Thanh mor, thanh me kot CHANYABAN nai khuam pen mor leui bor?"
Free hospital is in Laos, isn't it? That what's Kaysone Phomvihanh told our people on his radio addressing the nation, on one year anniversary the birth of Laos PDR, in 1976. He said the government is providing free health care, free hospital, free school even free foods. The government is controller and the people is owner ( Lat khoum khong pasason pen jao ) that's what he said.
Where is his promise? No free nothing!!!!!!!!!! Who's better way, communist and democracy?
We don't want ****ing free service,we are not begar but we need good care and clean hospital. take a look at any patients rooms/bed in any hospital, absolutedly dirty, nurse sitting outside watching ****ing thai drama carelessly their patients waiting for ther time out.
I visited Laos last fall and stayed in Vientiane on my last week of my vacation time before heading back to home sweet home in USA.
After we had a dinner in my niece home, it was about 7:30 pm of that evening, I had very bad diarrhea from foods poison. I called my friend Jason, my Falang friend, at his girl friend home, to let him know that I have to go to hospital. My niece brought me there and sent me E.R. room. A nurse came over and asked what's happen, then she told my niece to wait for me outside the E.R. room. After that nurse went out E.R. room, I don't see any nurse or doctor come over, they left me in there alone for more than half our. I have to take a push on plastic bucket that filling inside of it with plastic back that nurse showed me before she walk out that room. About 20 minutes more later I was still don't see know one come over.
I got in that E.R. room at 8:00 pm. 9:00 pm I was still alone in that room. 10 after 9:00 my friend Jason and his girl friend arrived and asked how am I? 10 second after our English conversation, 4 nurses and 2 doctors came to that room faster than rocket. I decided not to get any treatment from that hospital, because my diarrhea was stopped and I felt better plus one of my friend name Chanpheng ( not tell last name ) he's last year of medical student at Phetsad ( Laos PDR calls different mane ) came over to see me and he will help me to injecting IV in my body at my niece house.
If those nurses and doctors didn't hear our English conversations they weren't come over for sure. They looked at my wearing outfits and considered I am one of Laotian man in Laos. I wore very old short and stain spot T shirt, my feet wore one of my niece son old slippers ( kerb pa e heu ).
This happen in Vientiane hospital ( sorry I don't want to tell the name of that hospital ) was showed me the bad situation happen in Laos hospital. They treat only people who have money or rich, the poor people are only waiting for their times to die.
Only the government can deal with these issue in Laos hospital.

Hey Man! You could tell your true story if you would like to improve their system. I'm sure some staff of that hospital also visited this site You could tell here for where and when but for your expression "If those nurses and doctors didn't hear our Englishconversations they weren't come over for sure. Many times, in recent year, I went back to Laos and work with some docotrs in few departments or divisions of Mahosod hospital and Setthathilath hospital I quite understood the Lao doctor situation, lack of dr after normal working time esply at provincial level. May be the time that you visited Dr. he/she went to other ward to follow their patients or other ward called to see paptients.
