Are you kidding too? Van Damme is not a fake martial art man, he is real one as same as Bruce Lee. I heard that news a few years ago that he got his a.s.s kicked so bad from street punk gangs in L.A. That fight was 10 against 1 without no rule or referees plus those street punks used weopons to beat him up, but him using only his bare hands to defend himself. Those punks got them a.s.s kicked so badly too, about 5 of them was in hospital for several weeks. Fianlly they went to jail. Who's winner?
I don't know if you can call it Thai boxing because in this fight elbow is forbidden. I don't think it fair to somluk because Van Damme is so big and somluk can't use elbows.

How come most people want to test all movie star martial art? In 1973, Wang Chu came to Bang Kok Thailand for producing his action movie. Several street gang fighters tried to testing him and start fight 7 against 1 inside a morning coffe shop downtown of Bang Kok. The result came out so good, all 7 Thai street fighters was hospitalize with broken arms and legs. The news came out front page of news paper in big Thai language as: " Wang Chu Boo Nork Jor "

1973? I'm sure back then most if not all of the street gang fighters are Chinese-Thai as Thai called them Ung-Yi. and I guess Wang Chu is a Chinese name so Chinese want to test Chinese no big deal.
