All young generation Laotians who's grew up and went to school after 1975 up to present time don't know many of Lao words, because new Lao PDR education ministry changed some old Lao democracy education system. They changed to easy to read and write of '' Phsa Lao " and stop to teach lao slaing words. 80% of Thai words are sharing Lao language. Thai keep use them, but Lao PDR put them away behind, plus not teaching in school for new generation to know. From this issue make many young generation Laotians confuse when they hear Thai or Lao using an old Lao word on speech or writing, and then have question : This is Phasa Lao leu Phasa Thai? OOP is 100% Pasa Lao.
