But not all Lao in America helping their country. Only some are willing to help while most of Lao-Americans are always bleming governement.

Some suggest Lao people in the country to strike against Communist government ????

Well, if this is the best solution to improve Laos then they could have done it during 60s 70s rather than swam the mekong abandon their homeland.

WELL SPEAKING OF THE PAST!! YOU'VE STATED THAT" LAO PEOPLE SWAM THE MEKONG ABANDON THEIR HOMELAND." LOL
YOU CAN TWIST THIS INFO ANYWAY YOU WANT, BUT THE WHOLE WORLD ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED AND KNEW THAT LAO PEOPLE FLED THEIR COUNTY FOR THE SAME  REASON AS THE CAMBODIANS AND VIETNAMESE, FLED THEIR HOMELAND , CAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO BE KILL BY THE COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT THAT INVADED THEIR COUNTRIES DURING 1975. iT WAS BROD-CASTED/ TELEVISED WORLD WIDE THAT COMMUNIST GOV HAVE PEOPLE SLAUGHTERED AND THREW THEIR BODIES  IN MEKONG RIVER MOSTLY WERE HIGH RANK OFFICER AND EDUCATED PEOPLE, THEY WERE KICK OUT FROM THEIR OWN HOMES, THOUSANDS WERE PUT IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS AND EVENTUALLY EITHER DIE FROM ILLNESSES OR KILLED BY COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT, THE LIST GOES ON.....JUST IMAGINE...................... THE"HOLOCAUST"  IN SOME PART OF ASIA . RIGHT NOW YOU'RE MAKING THE WORLD LAUGHING AT YOU AND YR GOVERNMENT BY  STILL BLAMING AND BAD MOUTHING LAO ABROAD OF WHAT HAPPEN IN THE PAST. no

Your dad have earned an honorific title as a minor titular official that's " colonel " ( kolonan ) who is above a lieutenant and below a brigadier general for column of soldiers. Your father was very lucky, are you and your family still in Laos? as for me I was glad my dad have fled if he didn't for sure he would be killed as a high rank officer

Hello there,

Yes, my Dad was the one that Colonel Kham Boo trusted most (his personal nurse), and yes, our family is in Laos my Dad didn't want to leave the country and so my mum, but I am now studying in overseas.

The communist government doesn't care who he was as long as he contribute into country development (the same for others former government)

My dad was alo nominated a head of the party member at village level but he is retire now but still leads and consults the party member of village.

He told me that Kham Boo was jaild in Somke and died about 15 years ago....

By the way, I am sorry that I spell awful about Colonel etc... as my dad's mentioned like French accent so I just wrote after his word...

As long as I can read it, that's ok, people don't really care much about missed spelling on INTERNET and that was just my explanation to your question below your  comment that's all.
