 Why don't you blame on Ho Chi Minh who broke the peace treaty in Geneva . Laos supposed to be neutral country.But Ho Chi Minh used Lao jungle( Ho Chi Minh trail) to transport the weapons and supply to the Viet-Con in South Vietnam. Matter of fact America did not bomb Lao but the North Vietnamese troop in the jungle and the mountain of Laos. If they bombed Laos like they bombed Japan and Germany, believed me there would not be you today. The reason why the North Vietnam has won the war because the American people demonstrated against the United States government  when they saw too many collateral damage , too many innocent Vietnamese were killed by not supplying South Vietnam financially and military while the Soviet Empire was still supporting the North Vietnam with weapons.  It was the cold war between the two super power , idiot . Later on The American government had done the same thing to the Soviet Empire in Afghanistan in the 80. Then the people  were tire of living in poor condition behind the iron curtain under the iron fist . After seventy years the Marx Lenin system was failed , the people torn down the Berlin wall and then Soviet Empire collapsed .The United States is not a perfect country but the people have the choice and be able to  change unlike living under the communist or dictatorship country , the people have no choice .That is why communist China turn to Capitalism which Mao Zedong hated the capitalism and murdered million of rich Chinese .The reason why Laos is still the least developed and poorest country because of the corruption and lack of intelligent and highly well educated leader. The leaders who are not well educated, don't know how to trade , only begging for foreign aid.Don't blame because Laos is land lock country and the American  dropped many tons of bombs on north Vietnamese soldiers in Laos. Too long to be brain wash , should google and find out the truth in the world history. Laos is the least developed and the poorest country because of failed and corrupted system . The Lao leaders are not well educated and don't know how to trade, only beg for the foreign aid. Also Laos was isolated  for many decade from the outside world behind iron curtain until 1990 . After seventy years the Marx Lenin system was failed , the people torn down the Berlin wall and then Soviet Empire collapsed .The United States is not a perfect country but the people have the choice and be able to  change unlike living under the communist or dictatorship country , the people have no choice .That is why communist China turn to Capitalism which Mao Zedong hated the capitalism and murdered million of rich Chinese .The reason why Laos is still the least developed and poorest country because of the corruption and lack of intelligent and highly well educated leader. The leaders who are not well educated, don't know how to trade , only begging for foreign aid.Don't blame because Laos is land lock country and the American  dropped many tons of bombs on north Vietnamese soldiers in Laos. Too long to be brain wash , should google and find out the truth in the world history. Even Vietnamese government are kissing the American ass today for the protection against the Chinese aggression in south China sea over Spratly island and allowed US Navy to use the Vietnamese sea port and begging the American investors and bank to invest in Vietnam instead of China, stupid idiot.

American's didn't want to "bomb" Laos. Laos was not their "target" the viet congs were their target, understand stupids? And the viet dogs used you Laosy people as human shields by hiding in Laos so their own country Vietnam wouldn't be nuked to shiet.

The American's didn't lose this war, they realized it wasn't worth it so they left. You want to know who lost that war --> Lao people. Lao people have been facked by viets for the past 38 years and are still slaves to vietnam. ALL intelligent Lao people left Laos in 1975. We lost our home, forced out by viets in a war we didn't even have anything to do with. Viets should have kept their civil war to themselves and fought each other but you know they are dogs so they don't play by any civilized human treaties.

Mother Russia is dead, Chinese know this and they are greedy mothafackers so that's why they trade with the USA and now their economy is influenced by America. Viets see this too and they want in on the deal.

I wish the US stayed and finished the job just like they did in Iraq, 10 years. But back then in the 1970's they didn't have the type of technology that they do now so different story. If US stayed and killed off all the viet congs then I would still be in Laos enjoying my Laosy life.

You Lao nai think I wanted to come to USA? Fack NO. Stupid viet cong came and tried to kill me and my family so we escaped to Thailand as refugees and finally found refuge in USA. US lost over 45,000 soldiers (real people, someone's kid) and for what you ask? Look at the 2 million people who died in the killing fields of Cambodia. No other country came into help stop the viet congs and their masacre except the US.

In my opinion, the US should have nuked the viets, that would have ended the war without this mess. The reason they didn't is because of them hippies and their peace loving protests.

North and South Vietnam are just like North and South Korea. Now there is only Vietnam because the North took over. Imagine if North Korea took over South Korea? They are technically still at war, look at the DMZ. North Korea knows it has no chance against the US unless it develops nuclear weapons. Iran, the same thing.

Now look at viets kissing american asss like it was dog food. Who is the hubsai america now? Everyone wants to do business with the largest economy in the world but yet they hated america so much before. Communism failed and now they all jumped ship except Laos, still in denial.
