This is a true story and was happened to a young Lao refugee woman, she's about mid 20 of her age, and who's first fresh starting her life with her family in the States in 1979. Her English was very poor she knows only YES,NO and HELP. One day, it was very nice day, she grabbed her bottle of water and left her house to take a walk. Her plan was to walk around the neighborhood to see new thing in that area. It was every nice and warm weather on that day, she kept walking and walking for more than an hour and far way from home. She drunk the water from her bottle of water. An hour past by and 2 hours coming up of her waking. Suddenly, she needs to use the bathroom so bad, she needs to take a pee but there's no public rest room around that area. She didn't want to pee on her pants, in this kind of situation she had to knock a door someone house to ask using the bathroom.

After this incident happen to Lao refugee in the Sates in 1979, U.S. refugee agency were not allow Indochina refugees go to the United States without study the U.S. customer. Since 1980 all Lao refugees are going to the States had to go to Philippines to study American Customer first before go in the States.
