I have a question? Why is Chao Fag Ngum's statue located in Vientiane and not in Luang Prabang?

Didn't he proclaimed the establishment of Lan Xang in Xiengthong which was its capital?

I agreed with your question, there is wrong King Fa-Ngum's statue is
locate in Vientiane, it's suppose to be in Luang Prabang. During King
Fa-Ngum's era, the location of Vientiane today were name Muong Phai
nam.

Vientiane wasn't born yet at the time King Fa-Ngum establish Ana Chuck
Lao.
